My heart lies deep down in the ocean,
But I am forbidden to set boats in motion.
How can I ever live freely?
If my heart is not with me truly.
Being the princess of Motunui Island,
I need to be content with living on dryland.
But my soul will always remain in the crashing tides,
Without it my people I can never guide.
But now I have a mission,
Restoring Taffiti’s heart is no condition.
Our motherland will die,
And our Island family will be left in the dry.
Someday I will break lose,
I can only do that if that’s what I choose.
